Covid is on the decline but we still all need to remember that it hasn’t gone away. Mask wearing at the practice will remain in place for the time being . Please check with your GP that you are up to date with covid vaccinations . The latest covid vaccine guidelines is found here ATAGI guidelines . We would encourage our at risk patients to continue wearing masks outside of the practice in high risk situations such as whilst on public transport or in crowded shared spaces ie shopping centres. Social distancing ( 1.5 m Gap) and good hygiene continue to play a role in preventing the spread.
Remember to contact the surgery if you do contract Covid to discuss if you are eligible to take oral antiviral medication . Medication is best started in the first 5 days of infection to help prevent severe disease
